Cooper Newlan

Cooper is a Certified Professional Landman (CPL) with over a decade of experience in leasehold acquisition, title examination, and lease and contract administration across the Permian Basin. After beginning his career playing a pivotal role in the high-volume rooftop leasing programs in Big Spring and Midland, he transitioned to in-house Senior Landman positions at Steward Energy II and Basin Oil & Gas, where he executed large-scale leasing programs, oversaw unit operations and development, and resolved complex title curative, primarily across Texas and New Mexico. Cooper holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Energy Commerce — Petroleum Land Management from Texas Tech University and is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and the Fort Worth Association of Professional Landmen (FWAPL).
